Fonte Lima Park, in the parish of Santa Bárbara, was inaugurated on 26th September 1999 and has since been considered a local symbol. The park was built around a natural water spring from which, even today, water can be drunk, since its superior quality makes it suitable for consumption. It consists of a green area covering 10,000 m² and offers various facilities, such as a picnic area, a children's playground, a café, access for persons with reduced mobility and toilets.
